About

Las Personas formed in a backyard in East Austin in 2018, when four friends with day jobs at the same coffee shop started rehearsing on Sundays. Five years and two EPs later, they're one of the city's most reliable indie-rock live acts — known for tight 70-minute sets that pivot between Spanish and English without breaking the spell.

Their second EP, Casa Vacía, was released in March 2026 and has streamed over 200,000 times across platforms. The band's June 14 show at Mohawk is their first hometown headlining slot since the release.

Press

"One of the most distinctive new voices to come out of Austin's indie scene this year — a band that sounds like they've been doing this for a decade."

KUTX · Spring Showcase review · April 2026

"Sways between alternative and pop with confident swagger; the bass and guitar locked in like they share a brain."

Austin Chronicle · Live review · March 2026
